Man indicted on charge that he mailed drugs to an inmate
HAVERHILL - A Grafton County Superior Court grand jury has indicted a 45-year-old Littleton man on a conspiracy charge for allegedly attempting to mail drugs concealed in a package of photographs to a county inmate.
Frank Concemi of 1248 Union Street is charged with conspiracy - delivery of articles prohibited. Between Sept. 6 and Sept. 7, he "hid strips containing the controlled drug buprenorphine inside photos" that were mailed to Tanna Halvorsen while she was an inmate at the Grafton County House of Corrections, according to the indictment.
Buprenorphine is often used in the treatment of opioid addiction, but can be misused as a recreational drug. The charge against Concemi is a class B felony.
In other indictments the grand jury handed up during its November session: Stojanche Cvetanovski, 22, of Indian Head Resort, Apt. 81, in Lincoln was charged with five assault counts, including two counts each of aggravated felonious sexual assault on a helpless victim, and aggravated felonious sexual assault on a victim who gave no consent, on Sept. 7 in Plymouth.
Those four charges are considered special felonies, according to the indictments. Cvetanovski is also charged with simple assault, a class A misdemeanor, on the same date against the same 20-year-old victim who was not identified by name in the indictments.
Francis McClain, 62, of 397 Sculptured Rocks Road in Groton is charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon on Aug. 4 in that town. McLain is accused of firing a .38-caliber pistol into the woods without being able to see where the bullets would impact.
Those actions may have placed Branden Andrus, Tabitha McGuire, and/or Anthony Paveglio "in danger of serious bodily injury," according to the indictment. The charge is a class B felony.
