Bank of America offers counseling to homeowners
MANCHESTER - Bank of America has scheduled a two-day homeowner assistance event Tuesday and Wednesday in Manchester for its customers.
Local Bank of America homeowners currently facing financial difficulty and looking to receive assistance on their mortgage will be able to meet with representatives of the bank as well as the nonprofit AHEAD (Affordable Housing, Education and Development) to receive financial counseling and budgeting help.
The event is from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day at the Hilton Garden Inn, 101 S. Commercial St.
Complimentary parking will be available at the hotel.

Appointments are available from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Over the course of their time at the event (at least two to three hours), customers will review their file and status with a bank specialist, verify their income and residency and discuss foreclosure-avoidance options.
Customers are asked to bring documentation of their financial situation. A list of the documents required can be found at the event website.
