UNH men's hockey drops to No. 2; Dartmouth No. 10

The University of New Hampshire men's hockey team spent just one week atop the two national polls, as it dropped to No. 2 in both after a 3-2 loss to Boston University on Thursday.

Boston College took over the top spot in both the USCHO.com Top 20 and the USA Today Top 15. The Eagles garnered 35 first-place votes in the USCHO.com poll and 22 in the USA Today poll, while the Wildcats had nine in each.

Rounding out the top five in each poll are Notre Dame at No. 3, Minnesota at No. 4 and Miami of Ohio at No. 5. Dartmouth is No. 10 in the USCHO.com poll and 11th in the USA Today.

The Wildcats are off until Dec. 30 when they play at Dartmouth.
