NH's electors cast official Obama ballots
CONCORD - Secretary of State Bill Gardner said the "final chapter" on the election of 2012 was closed on Monday when the state's four electors cast their votes for Barack Obama for President and Joe Biden for vice president.
Gardner said the New Hampshire electors were Obama supporters Jim Demers, who was president of the delegation; C. Arthur Soucy, secretary; Joanne Dowdell, doorkeeper; and Mary Rauh, teller. Gardner said the ballots will go to Congress where they will be read into the record, with a copy to the U.S. District Court in Concord.
