Politico: Chuck Hagel's possible future colleagues: Former aides
Several Hagel aides have gone on to work for Senate Democrats. Chad Kreikemeier handled Iraq and Afghanistan issues for Hagel and now serves as a senior policy adviser on defense and foreign policy for Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, a New Hampshire Democrat who would have a say on a Hagel confirmation from her seat on the Senate Armed Services Committee.
