NH manufacturers say education key to economic future

BEDFORD New Hampshire colleges and businesses need each other. That was the message, in no uncertain terms, at the New Hampshire Forum on the Future breakfast held recently at Bedford Village Inn. It was also the echo of a call to action by dozens of N.H. advanced manufacturing leaders who say they are facing a skilled-workforce shortage and who depend on partnerships with higher education institutions to ensure the shortage wont be an obstacle to economic growth.
