Nashua police make arrest in laptop theft
NASHUA - The theft of a $3,000 laptop computer from a Shedds Avenue residence last May has landed a man in jail on $20,000 cash/surety bail.
Police arrested James Charland, 32, no fixed address, Sunday night and charged him with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, a Class A felony. The laptop was reported stolen on the afternoon of May 28. Charland is to be arraigned today in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
