Hassan names final staff appointments
CONCORD - Gov.-elect Maggie Hassan on Wednesday said she has made her final staff appointments, with many coming over from the administration of Gov. John Lynch.
Hassan named Gerard Murphy of Concord, who has served as a budget officer for the state Legislature, as her budget director. Murphy also previously held budgeting roles at the state Department of Transportation and New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.
She said Robert Ditman of Franklin has been appointed as citizens services director. Ditman is the deputy director of citizens services under Lynch and has served in various roles in the governor's office since 2009.
Other appointments she announced Wednesday include Samuel Inman as director of scheduling and Connor Jennings as governor's office receptionist. Both served in those roles for Lynch. Also appointed were Emily Brown of Wilton as director of administration; Kyle Sutton as assistant director of citizens services; Molly Connors as policy adviser; Liani Balasuriya as special assistant for citizens services; Devan Quinn of Hampstead as executive assistant to the governor; and Marissa Chase and William Hinkle as staff assistants.
