House, Senate approve SB2 budget fix for Newfound schools
CONCORD – The Senate Wednesday approved a bill fixing a Newfound Area School District’s budget problem.
The bill undoes the “unintended consequences” of Senate Bill 2, which allows multi-town school districts to impose spending or tax caps.
The bill had already been approved by the House.
The legislation is backed by House and Senate leadership and Gov. John Lynch, who is expected to sign it later today.
