Portsmouth Herald: NH must invest in higher taxes to curb smoking
Spending a little today to stop people from smoking will reduce the state's Medicaid and other medical costs, improve the overall health of the population and stop the personal suffering of people with tobacco related illnesses and their families. It is in the state's best interest to be more active in the fight against smoking.
