NHIAA Roundup: Campbell, Pembroke boys stay unbeaten

Nick Freson netted 19 points and Max Gouveia added 17 as the Cougars outlasted Hopkinton 72-66 in a boys' basketball encounter Tuesday in Litchfield.
Campbell raised its record to 7-0. Jesiah Wade collected 13 points and Zach Bergeon had a team-high seven rebounds.
Hopkinton (4-2) was led by a 24-point effort from Steve Auger.
Pembroke 61, Hollis/Brookline 51: At Hollis, Patrick Welch scored 22 points as Pembroke (6-0) led from wire to wire in a battle of unbeaten teams in Division II. P.J. Flaum had 19 points to lead the Cavaliers, who dropped to 5-1.
Trinity 63, Nashua South 58 (OT): At Nashua, junior lefty Carmen Giampetruzzi scored 22 points, and Trinity of Manchester handed the Purple Panthers (4-1) their first loss of the season.
Mabor Gabriel had 15 points, and the Pioneers (4-0) made 18 of 21 shots from the foul line. Dave Dunham sank five 3-pointers and scored 17 points to lead South.
Manchester West 72, Timberlane 45: At Manchester, Alfred Nyonee scored a team-high 15 points as West (1-4) posted its first Division I victory.
Zack Jones (14) and Zack Theriault (13) also scored in double figures for West, which outscored Timberlane 62-35 after the first quarter. Eleven Blue Knights entered the scoring column.
Timberlane's Patrick Mahoney led all scorers with 16. The loss dropped the Owls to 0-5.
Manchester Central 68, Keene 61: At Keene, Dawson Dickson and Troy Pelletier scored 17 of Central's 19 points in the fourth quarter as the Little Green remained unbeaten in Division I at 5-0. Dickson led Central with 15. Mike Plentzas finished with 13.
Brian Boulay led Keene (0-4) with 16. The Blackbirds led by one with two minutes left in the third quarter.
Gilford 67, Winnisquam 29: In Tilton, Josh Joyce scored three 3-pointers and finished with 14 points for Gilford, which improved to 6-0.
Winnisquam (2-5) trailed 41-10 at halftime. Christian Serrano led the Bears with 12 points.
Memorial 58, Concord 55: Kaleb Marquis scored 22 points for the upset-minded Crimson Tide, but host Manchester Memorial held on for the win behind strong performances by Zoubel Iradukunda (19 points) and Kabongo Ngalukulondi (14 points). Memorial improved to 4-1, and Concord dropped to 0-4.
Exeter 60, Nashua North 40: At Exeter, Tyler Russ led the Blue Hawks with 15 points, and Max Medley added 14 for the winners. Exeter picked up its first win of the year and improved to 1-4.
Coe-Brown 65, Merrimack Valley 46: In Northwood, Chris Laurion scored 26 points and Andrew Langdon added 19 for the Coe-Brown squad (3-1). Joey Brochu and Andrew Alicia had 15 apiece for the 2-4 Pride.
Spaulding 78, Pinkerton 48: At Rochester, Spaulding outscored Pinkerton 23-8 in the second quarter and 26-12 in the fourth to improve its Division I record to 5-0. Anthony Ciccotelli led Spaulding with 14. Scott Bradley scored a game-high 18 for Pinkerton, which dropped to 1-3.
Merrimack 58, Dover 52: In Merrimack, the Tomahawks were 20-of-24 from the free throw line including 8 of 9 in the last period. Eric Gendron collected 21 points in the win for Merrimack (3-2) while Cam Towle led Dover (2-3) with 13 points.
Oyster River 69, Windham 67: At Windham, Nick Lazar had a pair of threes and 24 points to lead Oyster River of Durham to the road win. David Carbonello's 15 points led Windham (1-3). The Bobcats improved to 4-2.
Bedford 63, Alvirne 46: Balance scoring led host Bedford to its fifth win in seven outings. McKenzie Brown scored 12 points followed by Nikki Tucci with 11. Bri Purcell and Rachel Collins each netted 10 points. Sandi Purcell and Veronica Moceri each had 12 points for Alvirne. Venessa Jacques finished with 11. Both teams are 5-2.
Pinkerton 40, Spaulding 39: Kayla Stacy calmly sank two free throws with 15 seconds remaining, lifting host Pinkerton of Derry over the winless Red Raiders in Division I.
Sam Breslin led the Astros (6-0) with 15 points, while Emily Benway paced Spaulding of Rochester (0-7) with 13 points.
Trinity 53, Nashua South 44: At Manchester, the Pioneers outscored the Panthers 20-10 in the fourth quarter to raise their Division I record to 3-4.
Lizzy Meehan scored 15 for Trinity, which received 14 from Jillian Gilman and 11 from Bailey Caulfield. Caitlyn Perry led Nashua South (2-5) with 15.
Goffstown 59, Milford 40: At Goffstown, Dina Pitsas scored a game-high 20 points for Milford, but the host Grizzles stayed undefeated (7-0) with an explosive second half.
Tori Florence hit pair of 3-pointers and netted 14 points the winners. Milford dropped to 4-2.
Manchester Central 44, Keene 30: At Manchester, Amanda Gaudreault and Mary Soares each scored a team-high 10 points to help the Little Green improve to 1-5 in Division I. Central outscored Keene 16-4 in the third quarter. Allison Yeaw led Keene with nine.
Winnacunnet 60, Salem 58: In Salem, Mimi McLeod five-foot floater in the lane with one second left lifted the Warriors (3-2) past Salem. McLeod scored seven of her team's 10 fourth period points. She finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds while teammate Carly Gould added 14 points and 17 rebounds.
Winnacunnet was 13 of 20 from the free throw line while Salem was four of seven. Salem is now 2-3.
Campbell 57, Hopkinton 56: At Hopkinton, Hannah Neild scored a game-high 26 points to help the Cougars improve to 7-2 in Division III. Aly O'Donnell contributed 12 points for Campbell.
Callie Chase tossed in 12 to lead Hopkinton. Sabery Montore added 11, and Sloane White finished with 10.
