Downed tree causes widespread power outage in Atkinson
Martin Murray, senior corporate news representative, said power was expected to be restored by 8 a.m.
Customers began calling PSNH about 2:30 a.m., Murray said, after high winds caused a tree to topple, bringing down wires and blocking Hemlock Heights Road. According to PSNH's outage map, 128 of its 131 customers, or 97 percent of all customers, lost power.
