CONCORD - Three attorneys from Rath, Young and Pignatelli were recently selected by their peers for inclusion in the 2013 Best Lawyers' Lawyers of the Year.
The list includes: William Ardinger, tax law; Curtis Whittaker, energy law; and Lucy Hodder, health care law.
People being honored as Lawyers of the Year are selected based on particularly impressive voting averages received during the peer-review assessments conducted with thousands of lawyers.
Englund and Hadcock join Monadnock Family board
KEENE - Monadnock Family Services has announced the addition of two new members to its board of directors. Dr. Robert Englund of Munsonville and Audrey Hadcock of Keene were named to the board.
Englund recently retired after a 35-year career as a general internist at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Keene. From 1995 to 2002, Englund represented Ward 3 as an elected member of the Keene City Council and was one of a small group who successfully initiated the ban on smoking in all Keene restaurants.
Hadcock, who is a speech therapist, has previously served on Monadnock Family Services Board and was board chairman.
Joint Board brings back Bernaiche as join assessor
The Joint Board representing the towns of New London, Newbury, and Sunapee announced that Normand Bernaiche has returned to his post as the chief assessor. Bernaiche was originally hired to be the first joint assessor in August 2005, a position the first of its kind in New Hampshire. He left in June to become the City Assessor for Keene.
Meredith Savings Bank promotes Reposa
Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) announced that Becky Reposa has been promoted to branch and business development manager of the bank's Gilford office.
Reposa joined MVSB in 1999 as a teller in Gilford. In 2000, she was promoted to customer service representative/teller, and from 2001-2002 earned her customer service representative and teller certifications. In 2004, Reposa was promoted to assistant head teller at the bank's Route 104 office, and transferred to the Laconia office in the same capacity when it was opened in 2005. A year later, she earned her supervisor certification from the Northern New England Center of Financial Training and was promoted to head teller of the Route 104 office, where she most recently served as branch services supervisor.
NEMO adds sales manager, staff accountant, sales rep
Addressing sales demands along with an expanding product line, NEMO Equipment of Dover added a North American sales manager and staff accountant to its in-house team, along with a new outside sales rep for the mid-Atlantic region.
Ben Saunders, previously with Ibex Outdoor Clothing, has taken the North American sales manager post, and Lorcan LaFleur has signed on as staff accountant. NEMO has also pulled in Karl Jones, former retail supervisor from EMS's SoHo store, to represent in the mid-Atlantic.
