Auburn man arrested on indecent exposure charge

ROBERT LORDEN

SALEM - An Auburn man reclining in the seat of his car while parked at the Interstate 93 rest stop was arrested for indecent exposure on Tuesday.

Robert Lorden, 44, was taken into custody around 3:24 p.m. by detectives who were working on an unrelated case at the Salem rest area, police said.

Police noticed Lorden at the far end of the rest area with his seat reclined all the way back. Officers approached the vehicle and observed Lorden attempting to put a jacket over his lap and pull up his pants, police said.

Lorden was taken into custody without incident. He was booked at the police station and released on $1,000 bail.
