Fugitive from Iowa is arrested in Nashua

POLLARD

NASHUA - An Iowa fugitive was arrested Tuesday night after an officer ran a background check on him after seeing him looking into cars parked on West Hollis Street, police said.

Evan Pollard, 18, of 62 Ash St. is wanted on a warrant out of Davenport, Iowa, on charges of burglary and criminal mischief.

He was arrested after an officer saw a man "acting suspiciously, looking into windows of parked cars" on West Hollis Street, police said in a news release.

The officer did a records check on the man, identified as Pollard, and found the warrant for his arrest.

Pollard is being held without bail pending arraignment Wednesday in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
