MANCHESTER — A city woman was injured Thursday when she was hit by a car while in a crosswalk on Bridge Street, police said.
Cami Bennett, 19, was crossing the street about 7:15 p.m. Thursday when she was hit by a car driven by Wendel Makenzi, 25, of Manchester, who was turning from Elm Street onto Bridge Street.
Bennett was taken to Elliot Hospital for treatment of a concussion, police said. Alcohol and speed were not factors in the accident, police said.
