NH flu death toll reaches 20
Officials with the N.H. Department of Health and Human Services say while the death toll is unusually high for this early in the season, it is not necessarily an indication of what is to come over the next six or seven weeks.
Last season, which took place during a mild winter, influenza caused four deaths in the state. Two seasons ago, there were 18 deaths caused by the flu in New Hampshire.
