DOVER - Next weekend's New Hampshire Feline Fanciers show will feature the latest craze to hit the cat show circuit: Feline agility.

Similar to dog agility competitions, the contest features a course of 10 obstacles such as hurdles, hoops, tunnels, stairs and weave poles.

The NHFF cat show will be held Saturday and Sunday at Dover Middle School, 16 Daley Drive.

More than 150 pedigreed and household pet cats and kittens will compete for top honors.

Cat owners may enter their favorite felines in the show and/or agility contest by submitting entries online at nhff.org. Entries must be received by Monday.

All cats 4 months and older may be entered, but animals must be current on inoculations and neutered or spayed if at least 8 months old and may not be declawed.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $7 for adults; and $5 for seniors and children ages 6 to 14 (children under 5 will be admitted free with an adult).

More information and admission discount coupons are available at nhff.org.

Spectators who bring donations of cat food will be entered in a prize drawing.
