MANCHESTER - The state's largest airport will keep its three full-body scanners at security checkpoints and doesn't use the more revealing ones the federal government plans to banish.

"Those will stay," said J. Brian O'Neill, deputy director of the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. "Those are the ones that do the generic dough-boy image instead of the person's body outline."

The Transportation Security Administration said it will remove airport body scanners after OSI Systems Inc. couldn't write software to make passenger images less revealing, according to news reports.
