Woman arrested for DWI after her car burns
An engine fire destroyed this 2012 Ford Fusion along Chestnut Hill Road near Betts Road in Rochester Saturday afternoon. While no one was injured, the driver was arrested for an unrelated charge. (Courtesy photo)
According to police, Juanita Deraps, 60, of East Rochester, was arrested after police found her 2012 Ford Fusion in the roadway with the engine compartment engulfed in flames around 12:30 p.m.
Police said the cause of the car fire remains under investigation. They asked anyone with information about the incident to call police at 330-7127, or the anonymous Rochester Crimeline at 335-6500.
