Woman arrested for DWI after her car burns

ROCHESTER - A local woman was arrested for DWI after rescuers responded to a report of a car fire on Chestnut Hill Road Saturday afternoon.

According to police, Juanita Deraps, 60, of East Rochester, was arrested after police found her 2012 Ford Fusion in the roadway with the engine compartment engulfed in flames around 12:30 p.m.

Police said the cause of the car fire remains under investigation. They asked anyone with information about the incident to call police at 330-7127, or the anonymous Rochester Crimeline at 335-6500.
