PLYMOUTH - The New Hampshire Electric Cooperative is seeking candidates for its board of directors. Interested co-op members should submit their material to the nominating committee by noon Feb. 15. Board members are elected to three-year terms. Four of the 11 seats are up for election this year. Election ballots will be mailed to members in May. Winners will be seated at the annual members meeting on June 11.

Oden named board chair of D-H trustees
LEBANON - Professor Robert Oden Jr., former president of Carleton College and Kenyon College, has been named chair of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Board of Trustees.
Oden, a member of the health care system's board since January 2011, succeeded Wayne Granquist on Dec. 31.
Oden, a resident of Hanover and former professor of religion at Dartmouth, retired in 2010 after eight years as president of Carleton College, a liberal arts college in Northfield, Minn. Prior to that, he served for seven years as president of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
Orr & Reno appoints management panel
The Concord law firm of Orr & Reno has appointed a new management committee.
The committee consists of firm president Peter F. Burger, Susan S. Geiger as treasurer and William L. Chapman as secretary.
Burger practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, business counseling, real estate, succession planning, and hospitality. He joined Orr & Reno in 1988.
Geiger is a member of Orr & Reno's Energy Practice Group, representing developers of renewable energy projects, regulated electricity and gas utilities, and telecommunications companies.
She joined Orr & Reno in 2004.
Chapman practices in the areas of media and the First Amendment, complex commercial litigation, tax abatement and exemption, professional ethics, and estate and trust planning and administration. He joined Orr & Reno in 1972.
Well Sense names general manager
Well Sense Health Plan has appointed Gail Garceau as its new general manager.
In this role, Garceau leads and directs the overall operations of relationships with government organizations, regulatory groups, health care providers and other external agencies associated with New Hampshire Medicaid.
Garceau most recently served as president and chief executive officer of the former New Hampshire Healthy Kids Corporation.
Sousa joins Meredith Village Savings Bank
Jaimie Sousa has joined Meredith Village Savings Bank as a business development officer. In this role, Sousa will work closely with business owners throughout the Lakes Region to offer a full range of banking solutions to help them manage their time and money more effectively.
She began her career in 2004 as a teller, and was subsequently promoted multiple times to other roles, such as teller supervisor, marketing and retail coordinator, executive coordinator, and teller manager. She worked as a retail banking analyst at Mechanics Cooperative Bank in Fall River, Mass. She lives in Hill with her fiancé, Steve.
