BRISTOL - One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Route 104 near the Homestead Restaurant Wednesday afternoon.
The crash involved a truck and a sedan, shortly before 4 p.m., police said.
One person died, Bristol Police Lt. Kristopher Bean said.
"It was a head-on collision,"? Bean said. "One of the vehicles was driving west and crossed over into the eastbound lane, hitting the other vehicle."?
Bean said the driver of the eastbound vehicle died. The driver of the westbound vehicle was apparently not injured. "That driver refused treatment,"? Bean said.
Wednesday night, police were notifying next of kin of the dead driver. Bean said he could not release the driver's name or other details.
A large section of Route 104 was closed to all traffic beginning just before 4 p.m. The road was reopened at about 7 p.m., Bean said.
