Farmington woman charged with shoplifting Thursday

ROCHESTER - Police arrested a Farmington woman on a warrant Thursday afternoon following an incident at the local Walmart.
 
Monique Gowell, 47, of Farmington, was charged with willful concealment based on an incident at the store along Farmington Road (Route 11).
 
Gowell, who was released on $1,000 personal recognizance, is scheduled to appear for arraignment Feb. 25 at 8 a.m. in the 7th Circuit Rochester District Court.
 
Willful concealment is a Class B misdemeanor, which is punishable by a maximum of a $1,200 fine, if convicted.
