Plaistow man faces gun charge

HOOKSETT - A Plaistow man who allegedly had a loaded handgun under the seat of his car without a permit to carry a concealed weapon was arrested Wednesday by Hooksett police.

Police said Robert Duquette, 25, was stopped about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on Donati Drive because police suspected his car's inspection had lapsed. An officer found the gun under his seat, along with a small amount of marijuana, police said.

He was charged with transporting a controlled drug and carrying without a license. He is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 27 in Hooksett District Court.
