Citizens Bank said Friday that its website had experienced temporary disruptions due to an unusually high volume of Internet traffic, similar to disruptions that recently have hit other U.S. banks.



Customers were warned they could experience slow response times or issues with the availability of online and mobile banking. Customers who incur any fees due to this disruption in service should speak with a banker at a local branch or call the company Customer Contact Center.
