Wanted man keeps Manchester police waiting

MANCHESTER - A man wanted in connection with a domestic dispute in Nashua hid from police inside a home near the Pine Grove Cemetery on Saturday night, police said.

Police went to 31 Overland St. around 8 p.m. "to take a guy in and he didn't want to come out right away," police Lt. Michael Hurley said.

Police arrested the man more than an hour later, Hurley said, adding that the SWAT team wasn't called out.

"He wasn't threatening any of the officers there," Hurley said.

The man's name wasn't immediately available.

Hurley said the man was expected to face charges in the Nashua domestic case.
