Hooksett police are on the lookout for the driver of a silver minivan with tinted windows after a girl on her way home from school claimed a man tried to lure her into the vehicle Monday afternoon.

According to a police press release, the girl was walking home up Zapora Drive from her bus stop when the van pulled up beside her. The driver, described as a clean-shaven Hispanic adult male of medium complexion with straight black hair and wearing a white T-shirt, rolled down his window.

The man gestured for her to come to the van. When she refused, he drove off, heading south Zapora Drive.
