Exeter Hospital denies all liability in hep C outbreak
The hospital contends that it acted “reasonably and responsibly,” and with “appropriate regard for the health and safety of its patients, and in compliance with applicable standards of care.” In court documents, lawyers for Exeter Hospital placed blame for the viral outbreak at the feet of David Kwiatkowski, the former technologist accused of spreading hepatitis C to the infected patients.
