Northeast Utilities, others win $160M in damages over nuke waste repository
The owners of three now-defunct nuclear power plants in New England, including the former Connecticut Yankee in Haddam, will receive nearly $160 million in damages from the federal government related to the failure to create a national repository for spent nuclear fuel.
