Manchester police wives blood drive is cancelled
The association sponsored its first drive last March after Manchester Police Officer Daniel Doherty was shot and seriously wounded March 21, 2012. The drive collected more than 350 pints of blood.
Doherty, who returned to work this week after many surgeries and intensive physical therapy, plans to attend the blood drive to show his appreciation.
