NORTH HAMPTON — Police are warning motorists that Route 1A is closed from the Hampton town line to the Rye town line due to flooding and debris in the road.

Willow Avenue near the intersection of Route 1A, also known as Ocean Blvd., is also closed because of flooding resulting from high tide.

Emergency personnel are warning drivers not to travel on those roads until the tide recedes and debris has been cleared.
