CONCORD - Boston resident Jose M. Reyes, 53, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to participation in a cocaine distribution conspiracy and three counts of sale of cocaine, federal prosecutors said.

Reyes was sentenced in U.S. District Court, where he was categorized as a career criminal, based on prior convictions of drug trafficking, according to the office of New Hampshire U.S. Attorney John Kacavas.

After Reyes leaves prison, he must participate in supervised released for four years.
