Online directory makes it easy to buy in Windham
New to the town's website is a searchable database featuring more than 450 Windham-based businesses and nonprofit organizations.
"Maybe someone wants to shop local but doesn't know if the town has what they're looking for," Scott said. "Or maybe someone's looking to volunteer with a local organization but doesn't know where to begin. Now they have a list to choose from."
The online directory allows web-surfers to search businesses and nonprofits by name as well as category. "You'll be surprised to see just how many local businesses and nonprofit organizations we have," said Scott.
