MANCHESTER - Gary Cormier, 41, of 515 Hall St., is accused of first threatening his fiancee on Valentine's Day and, after being released on bail, stalking her.
Cormier is accused of jumping out in front of the woman's vehicle on Hall Street and pounding on the hood and when she put the vehicle in reverse, opening the door and trying to pull her out, scaring her.
After his release on bail, he is accused of returning to the Hall Street address. Police prosecutors then filed a motion to revoke Cormier's bail on the first charge. "Because I went home," Cormier said.
Cormier will be held without bail until a hearing Tuesday in Circuit Court, Manchester District Division.
At his arraignment Friday in Circuit Court, Cormier said: "I'd like to pleady guilty and get it over with." Told each charge carries a sentence of up to one year, Cormier said: "If I go to jail for a year, I go to jail."
The judge refused to accept a guilty plea, telling Cormier he needs to talk to a lawyer. Cormier agreed and trial was set for March 21.
A police prosecutor said Cormier has a criminal history that includes reckless conduct, assault, attempted assault, theft and habitual offender.
Arrested on a warrant
David Nault, 43, who is homeless, pleaded innocent Friday in Circuit Court, Manchester District Division to a violation of a protective order that alleges he had contact with his ex-wife Sept. 27, 2012, when he went to a Lake Avenue address to visit his children.
Police prosecutor Carissa Pelletier successfully sought $5,000 cash/surety bail for Nault, saying he has previous convictions for breach of bail and assault of the same person. Conditions bar contact with his ex-wife, bar him from her residence and bar any use of alcohol.
Trial was set for March 21.
More charges
Brandon Ross, 22, of 385 Concord St., was in Circuit Court, Manchester District Division Friday for the second day in a row.
Ross was arraigned Thursday on a felony robbery charge that alleges, with a companion, he went to the Beech Street residence of an acquaintance Jan. 18 and held the victim and two friends at gunpoint while his companion gathered a number of electronic items and put them into a backpack and fled with the backpack and several hundred dollars in cash.
Ross was arraigned Friday on a felony charge of identity fraud, a misdemeanor of receiving stolen property and two misdemeanor charges of fraudulent use of a credit card.
The new charges allege Ross stole a neighbor's debit card and used it to purchase approximately $550 worth of items at 7-Eleven stores Jan. 15.
A probable cause hearing on the new ID fraud felony was set for Feb. 28 and trial on the misdemeanors was set for March 25.
Bail was set at $5,000 on the new charges, with conditions barring contact with the neighbor and barring him from several 7-Eleven stores where he allegedly used the stolen debit card.
Barred from address
An Andover man pleaded innocent Friday in Circuit Court, Manchester District Division to two misdemeanor charges of criminal mischief and trial was set for March 25.
Gary Prentice, 44, of 264 Switch Road, is accused of kicking out a door panel at the Merrimack Street apartment of his ex-girlfriend and of punching a fan, breaking it.
Prentice said: "I was hoping I could get (personal recognizance) bail," but a police prosecutor said Prentice was convicted of criminal mischief involving the same woman in 2011.
The judge set bail at $1,000 cash/surety, with conditions that included no contact with the woman, not going within 100 yards of the woman, not going to her address and no alcohol consumption.
