Bonner takes his (3-point) shot tonight; viewing party in Concord

It's NBA All-Star Saturday on TNT — the day Matt Bonner has waited for.

The Concord native and San Antonio Spurs forward will participate in the Three-Point Contest, which is scheduled to follow the Skills Challenge and precede the Slam Dunk competition.

Coverage begins at 8:30 p.m., so expect Bonner to start hoisting up shots sometime after 9.

Also, the Red River Theatres in Concord will host a viewing party. Admission is free, but there is a suggested $5 donation to Bonner's "Rock on Foundation."
