Lack of snow scuttles Laconia sled dog race
This is the second time the club canceled the race this year because of inadequate snow. The three-day event initially was scheduled for Feb. 8-10.
Club members will decide Monday whether to reschedule the race to March 1-3.
"Pray for snow," club president and trail boss Jim Lyman said Wednesday.
This year's derby would be the 84th running, he said.
