Former Shell Oil chief to speak at institute

MANCHESTER - John Hofmeister, former president of Shell Oil Co., will discuss private energy investment during a talk at 7 p.m. Monday at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics & Political Library (anselm.edu/nhiop) at Saint Anselm College.

Hofmeister will also talk about his new role as founder and chief executive of Citizens for Affordable Energy Inc. and how he is working to create affordable, sustainable energy and improve energy policy in the United States.

The New Hampshire Institute of Politics is located on the corner of Rockland Avenue and Saint Anselm Drive.
