Climate change experts talk about action in Concord

International experts on climate change met in Concord on Monday to discuss steps being taken in other industrialized countries to reduce global warning and what should be done here.

"There is really no excuse whatsoever for inaction or delay in the U.S....The science is rock solid. The cost of inaction is exceedingly high now - the storms, the droughts, the floods, the heat waves," said Jim Rubens, a consultant with the Union of Concerned Scientists.

The group will ask New Hampshire's congressional delegation to move forward on developing climate policy, he said.
