MILTON - One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash near the New Hamshire Farm Museum Wednesday afternoon, according to Police Chief Mark McGowan.
Police, firefighters and emergency personnel responded at 1:45 p.m. after a pickup truck and sedan were involved in the accident along White Mountain Highway (Route 125. )
Fire Chief Nick Marique said firefighters extricated the driver of the sedan, who was later determined to be dead, while ambulance crews transported the driver of the pickup to Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester for non-life threatening injuries.
Members of Farmington, Middleton, Rochester, Wakefield and N.H. State Police assisted local officers with the investigation and to help with the traffic.
Wakefield firefighters and paramedics from Frisbie also responded to the scene.
Marique said Route 125 was re-opened around 6 p.m.
More information will be available later as police continue to investigate the crash, McGowan said.
