NHIAA on storm alert for today's hockey, basketball tournament games

The NHIAA will announce any boys' ice hockey or girls' basketball tournament postponements on its website if today's expected snowstorm warrants them.

"We have a special alert button on the front of our website (NHIAA.org) that will be activated if there is a postponement," said NHIAA finance director Diane Jobin.

In Divisions I and II boys' ice hockey, two preliminary games are slated for each division at the sites of the higher seeds. High school fans can also get tournament updates today by following Union Leader sports tweets at https://twitter.com/NHULSports.
