NHIAA Hockey Playoffs: BG edges Hanover, 2-1


Ben Robinson scored two second-period goals to lead Bishop Guertin of Nashua to a 2-1 Division I preliminary round hockey win against Hanover Thursday. Nick Mullen scored the lone goal for Hanover, which received a 31-save effort from goalie James Montgomery, BG goalie Griffin Scanlon had 21 saves.

BG meets top-ranked Memorial on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at JFK Coliseum in the quarterfinals.
