Spaulding overcame a 14-point halftime deficit to earn the No. 4 seed for the Division I playoffs with a 61-60 win at Manchester Memorial on Friday night.
Charlie Nevejans scored 18 for Spaulding, which raised its record to 14-4. The Red Raiders also received 16 from Dominic Paradis, who scored 14 in the second half. Kabongo Ngalukulondi tossed in 30 for Memorial (13-5).
Nashua South 70, Pinkerton 51: At Derry, Jack Preston scored a game-high 24 and his younger brother Tim Preston added 20 to help Nashua South finished the Division I regular season with a 14-4 record. Cam Welch led Pinkerton Academy (5-13) with 14.
Trinity 75, Timberlane 30: At Manchester, host Trinity clinched the No. 1 seed entering the Division I tournament with a dominating performance at McHugh Gym. Carmen Giampetruzzi scored 19 points, and Mabor Gabriel had 14 points as the Pioneers improved to 17-1. Timberlane of Plaistow (0-18) was led by Eric Nelson, who scored nine points.
Bishop Guertin 83, Manchester West 47: At Nashua, C.J. Boykin scored a game-high 15 points as the Cardinals took control early to close the regular season with a 13-5 record.
Steve Toscano added 14 points for Bishop Guertin, while John Noon and Jeff Lunn scored 12 points apiece. Noon's 12 points came via four 3-pointers.
Christian Olivo and Zach Jones scored eight points apiece for Manchester West, which falls to 1-17 with the loss.
Merrimack 68, Alvirne 56: At Hudson, Eric Gendron tossed in a game-high 19 points and Brandon Mallock finished with 15 as the Tomahawks wrapped up the Division I regular season with a 13-5 record. Tyler Brown scored 15 for Alvirne, which led by three at halftime. The Broncos dropped to 10-8.
Salem 61, Nashua North 43: At Salem, Mike Felix and Andrew Ruffen each scored a team-high 14 points to help the Blue Devils (8-10) finish the Division I regular season with a victory. Salem pulled away by outscoring North 20-6 in the second quarter. Justin Carter led North (3-15) with nine.
