Army Pvt. Carrie L. White, a 2012 graduate of Milford High School, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

The nine weeks of training included study of the Army mission, history, tradition and core values and instruction and practice in combat skills, military weapons and marksmanship, chemical warfare, drill and ceremony, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy and the military justice system.
