Keene police looking for man who robbed shoe store


KEENE - Police are searching for a man they say robbed a Payless Shoe Store at gunpoint on Tuesday.

Police said the man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash after going into the store about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, showing the clerk a black handgun and demanding cash. The man is described as white, 5 feet, 8 inches tall with an average build wearing a black knit hat with a face mask, puffy dark jacket, black ski gloves and dark hiking boots.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 357-9318.
