One car was damaged Tuesday in a crash on Route 101 that involved a state plow truck, state police said.
Sherry Vachon of Manchester said she was driving east on Route 101 about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday when she saw a plow truck enter the highway’s westbound lane and hit a car with its plow blade.
“He extended his left plow out and drove the car right into the center rail,” Vachon said.
Trooper Stephen McAulay confirmed that a plow hit a car, causing moderate damage but no injuries.
Vachon said she called 911 after seeing the accident. She said she told a state trooper that it involved “a big, orange state plow truck.”
“(The plow truck driver) must not have looked because the car was right there,” she said. “I couldn’t believe he just crossed right over and extended his plow like that.”
McAulay said the crash is under investigation and no cause or fault has yet been determined.
