$195K salary for Keene State College librarian's new job in Hawaii draws fire

According to Hawaii News Now, a television station based in Honolulu, Hawaii State Sen. Sam Slom, R-Hawaii Kai, Kahala, thought the $195,000 salary was out of line. The proposed high salary for the administrative head librarian position comes after faculty librarians were told there was little money available for raises or purchasing new materials, the Hawaii News Now story said.
