MANCHESTER - Easter Seals Seniors Count volunteers are available to do free safety evaluations of homes of at-risk seniors in the Greater Manchester area.

The agency helps men and women live at home safely and independently.

Trained volunteers in teams of two are available to do evaluations, at the convenience of the senior, related to smoke detectors, handrails, carpeting, exits, lighting and many other concerns to ensure a safe environment. The senior must be the owner of the home.
