Portsmouth crash causes fuel spill

PORTSMOUTH — A section of Interstate 95's southbound lane near exit 5 was closed for several hours early Saturday after an accident involving a truck that spilled about 50 gallons of diesel fuel, state police said.

Police said Johnson Corrielus, 35, of Milton, Mass., was heading south on the interstate when he lost control of a 2008 Peterbilt truck at 2:18 a.m. Saturday. The truck went off the road, broke through a guardrail and overturned, puncturing one of its gas tanks.
