Colton Yellow Horn scored two goals, and the Manchester Monarchs recovered from a three-goal deficit to beat Hershey, 6-4, at Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester on Saturday night. Horn's second goal of the night snapped a tie game in the third period, and Linden Vey lit the lamp for another goal moments later before 7,755 fans.

Vey added an empty-net goal in the final second as Manchester improved to 30-27-3-4, keeping the Monarchs in sole possession of third place in the Atlantic Division with 67 points. The Bears dropped to 30-25-3-6 and are fourth place in the East Division.

Manchester dug itself a significant hole. Ryan Potulney, on a powerplay, scored his 15th goal of the season to give the Bears a 1-0 lead in the first period. It appeared the Bears would take a one-goal lead into the first intermission, but Hershey's Boyd Kane made history and scored the Bears' second goal with 11 second remaining in the second period. The Hershey captain beat Monarchs goalie Martin Jones for his 13 goal of the season and notching his 500th career point in the American Hockey League. Boyd became the 85th player in AHL history to reach the 500-point mark. The 34-year-old Kane, a three-time Calder Cup champion, has 213 goals and 287 assists in 926 career AHL games with Hershey, Philadelphia, Springfield and Hartford spanning 15 seasons.

Hershey was whistled for only one penalty in the game - and the Monarchs made it hurt. Jordan Weal scored a powerplay goal with one second remaining in the second period, completing a dominant 20-minute stretch for the Manchester Monarchs. Andy Andreoff and Yellow Horn also scored goals in the second period for Manchester, which forced a 3-3 tie entering the final frame.

Jones made 26 saves for the Monarchs, while Hershey netminder Philipp Grubauer made 23 saves.
